NAMA Rococo wall paper

I'm a struggling artist my self and I know it's difficult to get inspired so I thought I would share this NAMA Rococo wall paper with you guys, who knows.... Maybe you'll get inspired !

I know what your thinking.. Wallpaper ? But it's super cool, full of vibrant colours and nifty designs! I find that people have a common misconception that wallpaper is boring and tacky, but this stuff is really modern and brings a hole new meaning to the term wallpaper! I personally used this wallpaper as inspiration for coming up with my own ideas of my sketch book assignment, which was to design wallpaper.

Winter Wonderland !

IT was cold, But it was beautiful I felt like the most special person in the world! Well let me explain... It was a Saturday night, not just any Saturday night, it was my birthday ! I had just left the movie theater with my friends, and as we walked out, I witnessed the most amazing thing I had ever seen !!! I was beautiful millions of tiny little circular diamonds falling from the sky, I felt like I was on the set of a Hollywood/Bollywood movie. It felt extremely surreal, the to good, to be true kind of feeling, is how i felt. I almost felt as if a million dancers would pop out somewhere and start dancing! I'm not crazy just heavily influenced by what I call filmy-syndrome(when every moment in life is expected to be like a movie/associated with things that happen in movies). Well it was a little to good to be true my hair got wet, but who cares? I had never felt this in love, with a

moment outdoors, in ages.

Dish, Dang, Boom IT's Sound Effect Time !

Hello to all,
My very first assignment is tech this year is about changing the audio on a trailer of a movie/video game. Exciting right ? Well I'll tell you more about that later. So any ways for this assignment I would like to make a few sound effects my self. I have never done so before, but I think I'll give it a shot! So I have been doing some research, to find out what can be done...

I came across some interesting videos, that I thought would be helpful and a few sites too.

This is another video I found, it's really interesting. It explains how sound effects are created for movies, It kind of breaks down how the "magic" is created...

A Little about Myself

Hello, it's me again and I want to share a bit about myself, because people change over time and you can always learn something new about a person.

Other than drawing and painting, I am interested in dancing, shopping, spending time with my friends and family , volunteering in my community and watching movies, I enjoy Bollywood movies as well as Hollywood.

When the topic of shopping or Bollywood comes ups I get extremely excited! I dance on a dance team of 14 girls, we do Indian folk(Rass Garba) and Bollywood dancing. I have always loved to dance since I was a child and I also enjoy teaching children how to dance.

Some things have not changed about me, that I'm still super loud, talk a lot and I sometimes am still required to be reminded to use my "inside voice". I have a vision issues, I try not to let it bring me down, and interfere with my work. But that's fine with me, it just means I get to wake up every morning and decide which pair of glasses matches my outfit!

What I love about CyberARTS, is that there is never a dull moment and we are constantly learning new things! I enjoy the mixture of visual arts with the technical arts. Although I am not very good, I enjoy water colour and most of all making things with my hands. In tech I am a little weaker, But I hope to improve my Illustrator, photoshop and CSS skills. I really hope we get to do some photography this year, because we started a little bit of it in grade nine, but didn't really continue it. I did attempt some 3, 6, 9 shots and some video making in grade nine, But I would definitely like to learn some more. Although sometime CyberARTs can get difficult, but I think it really gets our creative juices flowing and teaches us a variety of skills, for example time management, which can help us on a daily basis and in the future.

Well I'm very excited to share all my new ideas and arts work with you all this semester!
